I think I may stop posting in this journal altogether. I'm not going to delete it just yet, but I'm moving to another account. Once I get my shit together on that one, and become a member of ONTD on that one, then I'll get rid of this one.
Tuesday 4/14: 4 miles.
Wednesday 4/15: 4 miles.
Thursday 4/16: 4 miles.
Friday 4/17: 4 miles. Speed training.
Saturday 4/18: 4 miles.
I only ran 2 miles today instead of 4. It was really humid out there. Really nasty. I just really want to get out of the 2-4 mile zone. I know it's going to take a lot of work for me, but I know I can do it.

I start running again tomorrow. I don't know what it is that keeps me breaking up every week or two...it's strange and annoying because I get nowhere...

For some reason my view of time has been a little skewed.
I realized today that I don't have as much time as I thought I did... August isn't that far away if you think about it. It's only the 8th month of the year, and right now it's the end of the 2nd month.
That leaves me with about 6 months (because school starts towards the end of August) to get as fast as I want/need to be. I am kind of nervous. I have high expectations, and I'm not 100% if I can make it.
Any improvement is fine with me, but I'll be severely disappointed if things don't go as well as I know they can.
ETA: Oh yeah, today was another speed day.
And I'm also 32% complete (bronze) in the President's Challenge.
ETA2: I've noticed after I skip a day or two or more like three, my speed drops by about a minute. It's a horrible consequence for being lazy/unmotivated but it's nobodies fault but my own. At least now in this time of determination I'll think twice about deciding to "take a break".

It's really starting to piss me off and frankly at the moment I don't really care what the fuck happens with them.
Don't invite me to go out to eat with you, and then go to sleep and not even let me know that we aren't going at the last fucking minute.
Just lost some serious trust points in my book. Well, it's not 7 or 8 yet, so she still has time... (I'm countin' down, though)
Maybe these urges and desires to hang out with other people is a good thing...

Sweet! Today was my first solo speed workout. Nothing special. I ran a total of 5 Kilomters, doing 6 x 300 meter intervals with 2-minute jog periods in between. It felt fun. Here is the workout from nike+:
I peaked at about a 6'35" mile. That is sweet! I can't wait for Thursday to roll around so I can speed run again!!!

I wanted to run today, and yesterday, and Friday too, but I've run into another one of my motivation problems. I've only run like 2 or 3 times in the past 7 days. Tomorrow is the last run for this week. I've been really exhausted lately, and I don't really know why... I guess because I'm sick or something. I know that this week is going to be another one of those sub 30 mile weeks. I just need to get my ass motivated.
